The national tour of the hit Broadway musical "9 to 5: The Musical" will make its way to Houston at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts November 9-21. "9 to 5: The Musical" is the delightfully uproarious story of three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do - even in a man's world. Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical is about teaming up and taking care of business... it's about getting credit and getting even.

And in a corporate office, three working women - Judy Bernly, Violet Newstead and Doralee Rhodes - plotted to take over their company and, believing they accidentally poisoned him, kidnapped their sexist boss. The women of "9 to 5: The Musical" will bring their antics and the story of friendship and revenge to Huntsville for five shows. The touring production will open at the Von Braun Center today as part of the Broadway Theatre League's 2010-11 season.
